이장혁은 서울대학교 국제경제학과를 졸업하고 (1990) ESSEC에서 경영학 석사 (1995) 및 박사를 (2000) 받았다. University of Reading (1999-2001), HEC school of management, Paris (2001-2005) 조교수를 거쳐 현재 고려대학교 경영대학 마케팅 전공 교수, 경영전문대학원 부원장으로 재직하고 있다. KAIST (2005-2006), 북경 칭화대학 경제관리학원 (2009), 츠쿠바 대학 (2014), ESCP (2017, 2018), TEM (2017), ESSEC (2019-20)에 방문 교수로 일한 바 있다. Social network을 활용한 신제품 확산, 고객생애가치 증진을 위한 Loyalty program design, Digital marketing에 대한 연구를 하고 있다. 현재  교원창업으로 AligoAI 공동창업자 겸 대표이사, SGH Korea 공동창업자 겸 파트너를 맡고 있으며 삼성물산 (1990), 삼성전자 구주총괄 (1999-2001)에서 근무한 바 있다.

Dr. Janghyuk Lee is a professor of marketing & associate dean at Korea University, Business School (KUBS) in South Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University (B.A. in international economics) and from ESSEC (M.S. and Ph.D. in management). Before joining Korea University, he had a position at University of Reading (1999-2001) and HEC school of management (2001 to 2005). As well he visited Korea Advanced Institute of Technology (2005-2006), Tsing Hua University, School of Economics and Management (2009), Tsukuba University (2014), ESCP (2017, 2018), Telecom Ecole de Management (2017) and ESSEC (2019-2020)  as a visiting professor. He is interested in loyalty program, customer lifetime value management and pin-point marketing by using social network analysis. He has published articles in journals such as Marketing Science, Communications for Association of Information System, Journal of Services Marketing, etc. In industry, he is works for AligoAI (co-founder & CEO) and SGH Korea (co-founder & partner). Previously, he worked for Samsung Corp. (1990), and Samsung Electronics European Headquarter (1999-2001).
